Knit on the bias July 23, 2009
There’s a been pretty quick turnover of patterns lately. You know about Quenington, a fun zigzag scarf I did last week. It’s being test knit by Elisabeth (sadly blogless). Then there was a secret project. It’s all done but the testing. Yes, I designed and knit two projects in about nine days. Sort of scary, that. Can you say, “obsessed”? ![]()
Now there’s another one: a scarf or shawl knit on the bias. I don’t have a name for this one yet, but I’m truly loving it so far—especially after blocking the first few repeats last night. This one isn’t quite as lacy a stitch as some, but I love the way it flows. I think it looks especially pretty when it’s turned on its side.
I have tons of pattern reformatting to do, so I’m going to skedaddle. It’s almost Friday!
