• Pattern: Antigua, of my own devising.
• Yarn: Skacel Merino Lace, in Dark Taupe.
• Needles: Size 4 (3.75 mm).
• Finished size: 82 x 41 (pattern written in 3 additional sizes, all smaller).
• Skills: Lace knitting, beads or nupps (both optional), grafting.
• Notes: The most difficult thing to do was to cast on and work the very first row, after that it’s downhill all the way—this is especially true because the bottom edge of the border is where you cast on, and decrease four stitches every right-side row until you get to the top. The last third of the shawl goes really, really fast.
