• Pattern: Sevilla, of my own devising.
• Yarn: Fibre-Isle Fine Yarns, Kami Bison, 2 hanks of Bleuice.
• Needles: Size 4 (3.75 mm); crochet hook for provisional cast on.
• Finished size: 27.5 x 69 inches (pattern written in two additional sizes: a scarf and a narrower, longer stole).
• Skills: Lace knitting, provisional cast on, grafting.
• Notes: This shawl starts with a provisional cast one. The center panel is simply one motif repeated a bunch of times. The applied border also starts with a provisional cast on, and ends by grafting ten stitches together. The border is easily memorized, and knit up much more quickly than I thought it might.
