Siskiyou Trail September 24, 2009
- Pattern: Siskiyou Trail, of my own devising.
- Yarn: Louet Gems Fingering, Burgundy.
- Needles: US 1 (2.25 mm).
- Skills: Knitting in the round, k2tog, ssk, s2-k1-p2sso, yo.
- Notes: Named for the Siskiyou Trail, a Native American trail that wound its way through central California’s valleys up into Oregon, and was used by settlers as the shortest path from San Francisco to northern Oregon, this pattern winds its way up the hand in a lacy zigzag. Knit in the round with a thumb gusset in five sizes: xs, s [m, lg, xl]. Instructions are charted only.
You can see more pictures in my pattern shop and on Ravelry, and the pattern can be purchased at Patternfish.
